The Nurture Nature Foundation calls for Development Partners

The Nurture Nature Foundation wishes to call on all Stakeholders, Civil Society, Private Organisations including NGOs to form Development  Partners to collaborate in our continued effort to eradicate poor sanitation practices in Ngleshie Jamestown as a pilot and Ghana as a whole. We have segregated and initiated making use of some of the waste materials; Plastics, into:

(a) Construction of a Sea Defense. This is located around the Korle Lagoon estuary of about 600 meters stretch, with 60 meter stretch still under completion.

(b) Construction of Eco Tents and Greenhouse.

(c) Improvising dustbins using bamboo sticks, waste tires and other biodegradable waste materials

Ongoing sea defense at the estuary enclave and Ngleshie James Town Beach

We however need expertise in turning some of the other wastes we have gathered, into beneficiary end products.

We believe in a much-needed wider platform for a catalytic role and a synergistic effect in achieving the goal of a Clean Ngleshie Jamestown as well as fulfilling the Clean City Agenda in all other areas of Ghana.

The efficient fulfillment of our dream as an NGO needs support in the upscaling of sanitation in Ngleshie Jamestown as we have already started implementing and supporting extreme activities in the Ngleshie Jamestown community.

The objective of this development partnership is in realizing our obligation of,

1. Monthly allowances for our Sanitation Volunteer Corps, SVCs, which is Ghc 300 per head (Currently dealing with 50 SVCs)

2. Providing logistics and equipment for the effective working conditions in our areas of operation,

3.  Training and sensitization of the populace in ensuring proper environmental and community Cleanliness,

4. Supply of materials in promoting Beach and Community Beautification.
